Q1 2013 – Enerco Group Ltd Invests £3 million in Expansion

Press Release: Entrepreneurial organisation Enerco Group Ltd is committing £3million this year towards creating a new office complex in Aberdeen’s West End in a strategic move to bolster its service offering and grow its position in the region.

The three-storey office in Carden Place, designed to accommodate 100 people, will provide Group companies with a further 9,000sqft of office space and private car parking when complete.

The move comes following sustained business wins for Group companies with contracts totalling in excess of £20 million secured in the fourth quarter of 2012. Chairman and chief executive officer of Enerco Group Ltd Jamie Bennett, said:

The refurbishment and extension of Carden Place will provide us with the means to expand our business and shall increase the capacity of our international headquarters based here in Aberdeen City .

We have created a great deal of positive momentum in the business over the last year and we are in line to significantly advance our market position by the end of 2013. The new office complex will be a key base for us in achieving our growth objectives.”

Enerco Group Ltd is focused on creating, investing and growing upstream oil and gas technology based companies encompassing a range of disciplines from production loss elimination, engineering services, human factors, blended learning and the development of a competent workforce. The Group currently holds interests in Operational Excellence (OPEX) Group, Mintra Training Portal both in the UK and Norway, TrainingPortal and Enerco Group Ltd with 50 personnel based in Aberdeen.

Refurbishment work on the new property is expected to be complete by early 2014. Enerco Group will also continue to be based at the Group’s nearby current headquarters, Enerco House, in Albert Street.
